i hope you had the time of your life

So my posts are a little bit backwards.. read the post below this one first to see everything in order...

Soo here it is.. Erika all cleaned up for Grad. She looked gorgeous and i think she had a good time. Even Jamie joined us and tried to help her with her dress and did help with her shoes.

What more can i say? she looked stunning.. she had a great time and now its on to Hawaii for her, after exams and work for a couple of months. But Erika has always been a hard worker and very smart and i have no doubts that she can and will do amazing things in her life! WOOT WOOOT FOR BEING A HIGHSCHOOL GRADUATE!!!

and of course it wouldn't be a real event if dad didn't create something he was proud of with food.. here is his vegetable platter..

Ooh my goodness, Erika looks GORGEOUS! I've never doubted that she would be the most stunning graduate of 2008... she's probably one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. Dang you Takahashi's have some good genes! Her dress is so pretty too -- where's it from? Did she take a date? I can't wait to see her pictures when they finally find their way to facebook. I can't believe it's already been TWO YEARS since we've graduated! How weird is that?

And I love your Dad's veggie creation -- he is very talented! Haha.

I'm so proud to be your Dad's sister... there are many reasons for that but the comment about it not being an event until he does something he's proud of with food, hit home. As we learned from our Mom, and probably the Japanese as a whole, "presentation is everything"! Great vegetable platter Doug, and Great blogging Alana! (...I'm so proud to be your Aunt...)

You did a great job on your blog. The dress looks georgeous on Erika. The dress is beautifully made and the material is lovely too.
The Graduation was long but it was great to be there to watch Erika go up for her diploma. Its exciting to watch your grandchildren reach another milestone in their lives.
You did a great job on Erika's hair and Jenelle worked on her nails like a pro. You girls are so lucky to have each other to help you. You work well together.Erika looked beautiful as always.
Thanks for letting us be a part of this special day.
Happy to hear that the Grad party etc went well and that Erika had a good time.
Your dad"s vegetable platter looks professionally done. Love you all Grandmabashi
