we are FAMILY

I was exhausted by the time we got to raymond for our family reunion from our rafting trip.

OUr reunion took place at the newly fixed up Ag building, where we even slept for 3 nights.. on the hard floor. The reunion was for descendants of my Great Grandma and Grandpa Dahl. It was fun to meet some of my second cousins.. mostly from ARIZONA.. and I MISS THEm SO MUCH! we had lots of fun together!

Saturday night, Me and Erika, Jamie and Jenelle went to a nearby park (we almost didn't make it because the mosquitos were SOO bad) and we played catch with a football and i played some catch and learned how to throw a baseball. We were so lucky to have GREAT weather the whole weekend up until after the parade!Sunday after church we went for a little tour headed up by my Great Uncle Marvin.

Here is a picture of the house we all remember Grandma and Grandpa Dahl living in. It hasn't been kept up the same, but it still brings back Lots of memories.

After a couple other significant family stops we went to Temple Hill Cemetery to pay respects to some of our ancestors and Grandpa Anderson. It was actually good to hear some stories about people and to be there with family.

Monday we went to Waterton. We were lucky and really got to know our cousins Kirk and Janae and their family from Arizona. Dallin and Glade were so fun to have with us always asking questions and helping us to laugh and cool off.. They encouraged us to put out heads in the COLD COLD water.

The kids had a competition to see who could keep their feet in the water the longest. It was SOO cold. They also were lucky to find a patch of snow up by the lake. They even had a little snowball fight.

It was SOo hot on monday.. and i think my nose is even peeling now. but it was a lot of fun actually, eating ice cream, hiking and just getting to know our family better. Thanks to Kirk, Janae, Emma, Glade, Dallin, Ben and little Parker for coming with us and making our day so enjoyable. We love our cousins from Arizona!
