i worry sometimes that i'll miss these people too much to be able to function on my mission

i don't want to miss out on anything in their lives

it brings the waterworks into my life

and when the flooding is complete...

i remember... they'll still be here when i get home, and they will probably love me more then, because they missed me SO much.

i can deal with more love

You'll be able to handle it. You are very very strong. And of course, being on the Lord errand will help.

I love you. I cried just reading this. You will be the best missionary ever.

You will do fine Alana. You will be so busy on your mission- the time will just fly. 18 months seems long but time really does go by fast..WE will miss you and you will miss everyone but there will be letters and E mails to keep you posted.
I think it is wonderful that you have decided to go on a mission. You still have a lot of years after you return to do lots of things.
There will be a lot of people to meet.lots of things to do and lots of things to learn and experience
Love you

You have our love! And just think, when you return, our home will probably look just the same, and it will be like you weren't even away.
