May so far...

Well, after our weekend with the trunk not opening, Luke put our car up for sale.  A lot of people were interested and it took only a few days to sell it for a price we were happy with (okay - Luke wasn't really 'happy' about any of it...)
So before we handed the keys over to the new owners, we took some pictures

You can see how Luke was feeling about it
He shared this bittersweet moment with Tracen, and told Tracen how he can't wait for them to one day get a car and work on it together

Last week we shared a car with Cassandra, and then they bought another car, so we have been using the Celica and Luke flies to Phoenix this weekend to pick up his Dad's car there that we will {probably} buy from him.  And Tracen's new car seat will hopefully fit.

We have been lucky to have visitors from home at least once a month since coming down here in January.  Erika and Mom came and spent the weekend with us, and we had a lot of fun.  They were able to witness Tracen's crawling in person, and even in the few days they were here, he started to get a whole lot better at pulling himself up to standing on all the furniture.
Tracen sure loves the extra attention
I wish that picture had him in focus and not the sippy cup,  but Tracen was smiling at Erika
He loved to play peek-a-boo with Grandma.  And I enjoyed going to the Temple with my Mom for a morning, and the walks we all went on.

I just had one early morning class on Monday, so we headed to Jackson, WY for the afternoon.  It was a beautiful day and fun for them to see another part of Idaho.

Although Jackson isn't quite made for strollers, Tracen sure enjoyed himself there in his.

He was very excited to try to pull the sword from the rock

I also feel like I didn't take enough pictures (as usual) but we were too busy eating good food, visiting, watching Duck Dynasty and enjoying time together.

Come back soon!

I'm too lazy to find the pictures I should have to go with this post.  But for memories sake, I just need to jot down a few things.

Like, how the AAF competition is done and we didn't get first place, so we don't HAVE to go to Austin for the nationals (like how I am trying to be positive about the experience - my life is spared another task on the 'to-do' list).  It was a great experience, but I won't miss our rehearsals every day.

Tracen's first tooth came through and he's sleeping so good at night, or was, til he got sick, and now sounds like an old wheezy man.  Nothing worse than your child being sick.  But he has been enjoying eating peas and banana's with his fingers.  He is so fun and full of smiles, I just don't know what we would do without him.

Yesterday our trunk wouldn't open.  The internet told us that we just needed to push on the top and use the trunk key - oh wait - we don't have a trunk key.  The worst part was that our stroller was in there.  Our seats don't go down and so with some maneuvering and an ice scraper, Luke was able to pull the emergency handle and get it opened.

Did I mention that this is the same car that wasn't working when Tracen was born (hence, getting a ride to the hospital with the midwife... "oh yeah, I'd love to go the hospital and have this baby - just one problem, we need a ride")  Wellll - I think it's high time we got a new (to us) vehicle.  Tracen is needing to move up to a different car seat, but they won't fit in our car.  But maybe he can just find his own ride everywhere?

We have been enjoying the warmer weather lately (and our stroller) and have been going on walks, today Tracen was lucky enough to go on two walks.

School is keeping us BUSY BUSY.  Sometimes I love it, and sometimes I just get sick of advertising, and strategizing for the audience all the time.   I just want to learn how to use the Adobe Suite better.  Okay, really my classes are pretty fun, we have made ads for ourselves, a church radio ad, watched tons of commercials and talked about good PR moves.  I really do like it, I take back what I said.
