No Pictures

I hate to blog without pictures, however, we recently sold our camera and lens (anyone want to buy a lens???) and are waiting to sell the last lens to buy a new camera.  It would seem as though being without a camera has made for many moments where I wish I had one, which I need to remember when we do get another one and I can take pictures.

Life is flying by for our little family.  Today Tracen and I take off to SLC, and then HNL with JJ for the big wedding this Saturday, and then make our way back home on Sunday.  Being about 2 weeks from the end of the semester, there was a lot of work to do in preparation for this mini vacation.   But did I mention that there are only TWO weeks left in my university career???

Tracen keeps us entertained and on our toes, and we are lucky that he has only recently found an interest in climbing on everything.  He does this really cute head shake with big eyes everytime he hears a sound and says "What's that?" like he can't believe it.  He is trying more and more words and makes it a lot easier to be able to help him to do what he wants.

He loves walks, and when weather and schedules permit that is what we do.  Yesterday on our walk we watched airplanes practicing landing and taking off, said hello and good bye to each one and then watched the garbage truck collecting trash while drinking watered down juice.  It was the perfect break in our day from homework and packing.

It sure is hard to be motivated during these last few weeks of school, and I am so ready for the snow to stop and spring to come.  We have so much to look forward to in the coming weeks: the semester ending, and trips to Hawaii, Canada, and Arizona.

18 months old

Today marks 18 months since Tracen was born.
It is hard to even imagine what life was life before he was in it.

To celebrate, we made Jell-O and have played with bubbles 3 times today.

His personality is really showing through and he is embracing his independence more and more.

Lately he loves to pretend to be asleep and then wake up over and over.
